Tokyo Nov 05

This is one of many restaurants for "single" customers that I have encountered in Japan and nowhere else in the world. They don't check your marital status at the door, it just isn't designed for party of more than one client, no tables for 2 or more etc...

You come in, make your selection in a self service machine that prints out a ticket that you hand over to the chef at the counter who cooks it fresh in front of you, and you leave, without the need to utter a single word to anybody in the restaurant

Bergen Jun 05

I love this kind of barren and windswept landscape, barely any trees, the quietness of all

Chicago - Nov 2004

I really like this picture from Chicago, the mist, the wet pavement, the blurred ligthing, all looking a bit mysterious...

Berlin - Karl Lagerfeld exhibit Feb 07

Since I never find the time to write a blog, I have decided to publish all of the pictures I took during my travelling over the years, in no particular order.

So starting today, this is a picture I took in East Berlin in a brilliant gallery housed in what used to be an old communist post office, and they have kept it fairly intact.
